About Us

Workshop Life

We’re a small, friendly team – and that includes our resident workshop dog, who’s usually ‘greeting’ visitors at the door. You’re always welcome to drop by for a consultation, browse frame samples, or chat through ideas. We do not require you to make appointments, if you have a large project or many pieces it is probably best to call ahead.

Founded in 2006, our framing studio was born from a lifelong love of art and materials. With a degree in Fine Art and a background rooted in printmaking and photography, our founder brings both technical knowledge and creative sensitivity to every project.

Before launching the studio, they worked extensively with specialist paint finishes—an experience that honed their eye for detail, surface quality, and colour harmony. Today, that same precision and passion is applied to every frame we craft, whether for a delicate lithograph, a bold photographic print, or a cherished personal item.

We also bring expert knowledge of paper types, inks, and conservation practices to our work. From archival mounting to bespoke finishes, we help clients make informed choices that suit both their artwork and their environment.

Our studio is a welcoming, down-to-earth space, where clients are encouraged to be part of the creative process. And yes—there’s always a warm greeting from our much-loved workshop dog, who’s become a bit of a local icon.

Whether you're an artist, gallery, designer, collector, or simply looking to preserve a special memory, we’re here to help you frame it beautifully—and make it last.
