Framing

We offer handmade, hand-finished frames crafted with care, skill and a deep understanding of both materials and artwork. Whether you're framing a single print or preparing for a full exhibition, we tailor every detail to suit your piece — and we're always happy to talk through options in the workshop (usually with our friendly studio dog by your side!).

Hand-Finished Wooden Frames

Most of our frames are made from solid hardwoods including oak, ash, beech, tulipwood and walnut. Each frame is carefully hand-built, sanded and finished in-house. We apply colour and wax finishes by hand, and can even match colours found within your artwork for a subtle, cohesive effect.

We use responsibly sourced timber from specialist mills in Italy, selected for its beauty and sustainability. We can run bespoke mouldings for your project.

Aluminium Frames

For a contemporary look or specific conservation requirements, we offer a range of high-quality aluminium frames in various finishes. Aluminium is a sleek, durable option, especially popular for photography, modern artworks, and installations requiring a clean, minimal aesthetic.

Glazing Options

We offer a full range of glazing choices, including:

  • Standard clear glass

  • UV-filtering glass (to protect from light damage)

  • Anti-reflective / low-iron glass

  • Acrylic (shatter-resistant)

  • UV Acrylic (to protect from light damage)

  • We’ll help you select the best option for both protection and display.

  • Textile & Object Framing

We have experience in framing a wide range of items, from textiles and embroidery to three-dimensional objects and keepsakes. Our approach is always careful and customised — using archival techniques that preserve the integrity of each piece.

Refits & Repairs

We’re happy to refit, reglaze or refresh existing frames, whether you want to replace a mount, update to UV glass, or restore an old favourite.

We understand not every project needs the full bespoke treatment. If you're working to a budget, we can provide empty custom frames for you to fit and reuse as needed — perfect for artists, exhibitions, or evolving displays. Turnaround Time

Our typical turnaround is 2 weeks for individual items. If you're working to a deadline or planning a larger project, we always recommend getting in touch in good time so we can meet your schedule without rushing the work.
